Chef Mickey's
This was our first experience with Chef Mickey's. We chose to do a late breakfast for several reasons. 1.) We prefer breakfast food, 2.) It's a little cheaper, and 3.) It breaks our morning up a little since we are definite early birds.
We have done a LOT of character dining, and I have to say that this wasn't my number one favorite on first impressions. When we got there, there were 30-40 families waiting to be seated, and it was loud and crowded. However, we later realized most of them were just early arrivals for lunch.
As soon as we were seated (before we even ordered our drinks or got any food!), the characters started coming around! We saw them all in quick succession and then settled in to eat. The food was basic breakfast buffet food, and the coffee was good! (That's huge!)
About 2/3 of the way into the meal, Mickey started a napkin twirling song, which my 10 year old loved. Even some of the grown ups joined in the fun. :)
I will say that, of all the character meals we have done, this one felt the most rushed and chaotic. The characters didn't spend much time with us comparatively. Given the price tag, I'm not sure this is a meal I would choose as my top option. However, I do plan to give it another try at some point based on all the glowing reviews I have heard!

The food was great, and I liked seeing the Mickey characters. If you go around your birthday you get a signed card and a cupcake. You get to twirl your napkin with Mickey Mouse if you're there at the right time.
